Although they keep changing the forecast it does not look too good for tomorrow. Time to make certain we have plenty of gas on hand for generators. 6-8" snow for some areas and high wind. This does not sound like fun at all. Then I see where the forecast is for upper 60's by Monday.
What a crazy mixed up weather bag this year has been. We are getting the March Winds in April, and we got Springtime in February. We aren't getting any snow, but the wind and some cooler weather will be headed down here by Friday. We always say in Maryland, if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes. And how! Stay safe, Dennis!
I didn't hear that you were supposed to get snow Dennis. Sure won't last long this time of year though!
Well we didn't get that much. Not sure how much it would have been had not most of it melted as it came down. A few inches. Most gone already. I did dump the rain gauge last night. Don't remember for sure how many days worth it was but there were 4" in it.
Same here. Before the temps warmed up, there was a small accumulation, but as the day wore on, most disappeared. Everything that came down is now gone. Some here were saying we were maybe going to get between 4-8".......didn't even come close, even if it had been cold enough to stick. Nice and sunny this am, and windy, so everything is drying right up.
Snow blowing around today, headed down to 32° overnight. 50's tomorrow and a low of 33°...... Hope it don't destroy our potential lilac blooms which are just starting to open up.
Having a freeze warning tonight. Hope my peach blossoms survive, as they jumped into bloom with all the early warm weather. Didn't have peaches or cherries last year, due to late frost in May.
