My wife received a facebook alert from the FBI's FB page saying there was a threat of several ISIS attacks to be carried out in several locations around the world. The US threa is mentioned as Atlanta, GA, at a World Wrestling event at a pavillion in the city. But whos to say this is real, it could be anywhere. FHC folks keep safe, stay away from big crowds.
Being a small town type of guy, I have always stayed away from crowds. We live a couple miles outside a town of 11K....Only go to the big city when necessary
I would say the ISIS threat to the USA will remain forever. Everyone should always be on alert. It's a different world today than when I was a kid. (sound more like my Dad everyday)
ISIS is the current bogeyman, replacing Putin, the Taliban, Bin Ladin, Al Qaeda, the communists, etc. but is no serious threat to me, and likely not to anyone else here. The biggest threats come from the elected ones. Greg

I know Big Papa, but you have to admit, the sheer gravity of that particular day was tantamount to few other things in the history of country, on our home turf at that. But I whole heartedly agree with you, it's been coming for MUCH MUCH longer.
My mind read this as "IS threat." Literally. Had to click the link to find out how the Ideal Steel could either be a threat or be threatened. Gotta stop reading FHC on my old iPhone 4s in bed at night without my glasses.
Great posts and great messages. However, I refuse to avoid doing anything that I enjoy as a free citizen of the United States. To each his own, but I choose to live at risk over living in fear. Don't get me wrong, I don't 'fly blind'. When I find myself in an area/situation where some coward may decide to try his hand at making the news I take measures to protect myself and my loved ones.
I agree. Except its hard to do when persons one would not ever suspect commit crimes. Terrorism is for sure a four letter word.
