Ceramic grills usually start in the $300 range and go up from there. I am not familiar with that brand so you want to read reviews and do some research. What I have read, ceramic grills are freaking amazing.
Its a good price but a poor brand.. Looking for mini kamado You cant go wrong with , vision P series, mini BGE or kamado joe 'lil joe.
Thanks pals! I have been informed he wants a pellet grill......... Meaning we will use the propane hibatchi for a few more years LOL. We had a full size gas bbq, the wind took it and crumpled it . Tank is still good though.
I'm pretty sure I've read the the 18" Classic B series goes on sale the first 2 weeks of August, at least it has the last couple years. It's the only one on their website, and is currently $599.00. I keep an eye on craigslist, every once in a while a deal pops up. There was recently a large big green egg for $800 with every accessory made for it. I missed that deal. I'm very pleased with my old Imperial Kamado I found on craigslist for $100.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/hsh/4849072901.html 1970s Vintage Kamado Grill - $150 (Silver Lake) Selling vintage Japanese Kamado smoker grill. Only available for pick-up, I'm available during most week nights and weekends.
If I was closer, i would jump on it. If the outside has no cracks, the innards are easily improvised. That could be a $60 negotiated bargain!
yeah, I was not sure if that was a good deal or not, I am sure there is room to haggle but dont know how much. I just seen it on C/L, have no intentions of buying it although it is real close to me location wise. I remember the post you had on the one you bought and you said something about the early ones that were made in Japan are the best, i think that was your thread i remember
Yes, made of black earthen Japanese clay. Highly preferred by by the types that would pay hundreds of dollars for it, or so I have read. These things polish up real good and last forever.
