Double entendre invasive action. Not only are the trees invasive but the lantern flys have arrived. I saw just one on the tree of heavens yesterday driving by on the ATV. First one I’ve ever seen, there may have been more but I wasn’t really looking. Well we saw them today. Trees are loaded with them and the yellow jackets and white tails seem to be either making friends or enemies with them. Bees didn’t bother anyone but those damm lantern flys were landing on the back of my neck constantly. Same with Brad and Eric I’m sure. Buzzsaw taking careful aim and dropping the first tree Eric Wanderweg with his bejeweled 372. Sorry no pics of him dropping and bucking. This guys so fast by the time I turned around he had it down, bucked and even stacked. Nice to meet you, finally Eric. Brad brings an educational show and tell with him where ever he goes Love this shirt. I think I’m stealing the design and getting a second in command done. Brad getting his wild thing on. You’ll all be happy to know he was not impressed LOL Eric’s stash. And yes he drove home with that saw in the back. What can I say it’s Ct,,,,,,,still if I saw that on the road Id probably give him a pit maneuver To confess I’ve had two of those saws, this was the first time I ever heard one run tho. What with the heavenly trees, the lantern flys, the hornets and wasps it seemed fitting to appease the Egyptian gods (whatever those may be) and have a little ritual to end the day Forgot to pics of Brads loaded truck. They will be coming later. Brad is on the highway stuck in traffic. Seems there was a gang fight between some Asian bugs and American Wasps on the highway. Hopefully that gets straightened out soon.
Thanks for having us up there for a cutting session Joe. My truck was squatting pretty good on the ride back. It was great to finally shake your hand and put a face to someone's name after 5+ years. Also I can't thank you enough for the saws you gifted me. Looking forward to bringing them back to life On another note... That's got to be the absolute worst picture I've ever seen of me
Fun times this afternoon Joe & Eric. Thanks for having us and thanks for the wood. Those lantern flies were something else. Thinking I killed around 20 of them and yes some did land on me too. My load. Unlike Eric, i did not leave the saw sticking up like that. Maybe he was hoping it would fall out on the ride home. I moved it after taking the pic. Toolbox too. Eric in action. Joe going deep into the bush! (he was pulling saplings & vines with the ATV) Word of warning. Keep Joe away from flammable liquids. Fresh cut TOH limbs don't burn very well no matter how much kerosene (and old pallets) you put on them. How's this for a better picture Eric? Im thinking avatar worthy?
Almost as bad as running a Husky! JBYB Husky guys. All In good fun. Im thinking Eric wanted it to fall out of his truck!
Looks like y’all had fun. Pesky lantern flys have been down here for a while. They love my willow tree.
If someone were to drive from Michigan to Ct for a truckload of TOH I can guarantee we’d have a special prize for that person
Nice work. Those lantern flys are a pain in the a$$! Somewhere I have a picture of a large TOH that is covered with them 3" deep at the base. Another gift from China.
That was a secret Santa gift card of Biddleman last year. It will get used once it gets cooler. zi almost put it on yesterday.
You want some TOH? I’ve still got plenty left. There’s one more tree in the field and two more in the woods.
