Took my daughter for a jeep ride today juts to get out of the house. Rainy and can’t get to the wood yard so why not. We saw some pretty cool trees while there. There are several of the ones with the dip in them. Been told that Indian ties saplings down to allow them to grow that way as markers for water , food etc. they all point the same direction too so likely I suppose. Only got a few photos but wanted to share. 6C266FE4-963F-4A70-906C-D206DCD6156F.jpeg 86F681A1-E2DD-423E-8BDD-CA73FEF0B274.jpeg 2CDA248B-A261-44B7-8092-6A90A2204AD4.jpeg 2FFC32A4-AA7E-4825-842F-367163E1A982.jpeg

Looks like a few gnarled sycamores.

Odd and misshapen trees like that are cool. I always admire them. A tree only its mother could love!
