this one surprised even me a bit...

free firewoods. If you take all, I pay $100

"free firewood in Short Hills. Ease access to backyard. Anyone who can take All woods and the mulch from grinding, I will pay $100.

I thought it looked like a good score. Tree left plenty of holes to rake the chips into :)
Depends what part of the country your from I guess. In Ct free wood can start a riot.

Shorthills was listed in Time magazine as the "Richest" town in America , over 70% household income of over $150,000. They couldn't pick up Illegals on the corner to do that job for $100. Dumpster will run around $500 to cart it away. To top it off, it looks to me like crotches, heaviest and rotted sections left. I hope no one picks this up just on principal, I hate when people try to get over and think they are smarter than everyone else. Maybe its me, But I also don't see this $100 getting handed over until the yard is pristine.
I wonder what the discount was from the tree service that cut the tree down?

some of the cheapest people you could meet too!
theres "the other side" of short hills as well. made up of mostly illegals in apartments actually. so their income doesnt count to that figure.
i could have that quartered/loaded in an hour and split up in less than 2. not messing with mulch tho.

There is a earlier post on Craigslist, that seems to be a little more in line . free firewood round
I guess they didn't get enough takers and now want it gone and clean-up for $100 .

I've had wood delivered by a tree service with remarks about the pedigree of where it was grown. Slightly amusing, But it doesn't matter if it came from the yard of a $5,000,000 house in Alpine, it still burns the same.
