Sorry guys and gals Iv been going real hard everyday all day. Hope your families are all doing well and are safe. I was so impressed with these gloves I bought 12 pair. I got them at Homedee depot as Kameron my boy would say.
I use the blue latex dipped and buy a 5 pack at HD. How much per pair Chris and how long before you get a hole in one? Good to hear from you. Been wondering what youve been up to.
I just found some fencing gloves at Rural King back in the fence dept. and they say they are barb wire poke resistant. I got a pair for $15 to see how they hold up. They are all leather with extra thick leather added on to the palm and grippy part of the thumb and three fingers. I'm always looking for gloves cuz I tend to use them most of the time. In the summer I find the "chainsaw gloves" with kevlar in the backs to be pretty hot but I do use them all the time in the winter. I like the HF black mechanics gloves with the velcro cinch for summer and even use them for mowing and on the tractors. While using the chainsaw I like something chips can't go down into. When splitting and stacking I usually switch to the cheapo 6 pack leather palm "work gloves" that don't hold up great but they are toss aways and it's always nice to have extras in the truck in case a neighbor shows up and wants to know what I'm up to... I toss them a pair and give them the Tom Sawyer pitch of how fun and satisfying manual labor can be. Why go to the gym when I can be here close to nature and getting a workout at the same time doing something productive. Whenever I find stuff I like that I will be using, I buy in bulk like you do.
Iv been wearing them on and off but i know theyve lasted a while and did better than most. I think it was like $26 for 6 pair.
I've been busting my hands up on my splitter lately so I'v gone with some impact gloves that have saved me a few times recently. https://www.walmart.com/ip/HART-Pro...MIg4vmnrnr6QIV1eDICh1vPA5IEAYYAyABEgKfsfD_BwE
