Reason asking we are going to replace ours before next fall. I want one with long burn times ,over 10-12 hours. Want to stay with a 6 inch chimney. Cost not a problem. Tell me what you would go with or the one you have now.

If I was to stay with a woodstove it would be a Woodstock progress hybrid, I would really rather have a gasification boiler plumbed into my existing hot water baseboard.

Woodstock Fireview now. Next is Woodstock Progressive Hybrid. I like the looks and the soapstone.

I'd replace my WS IS with the same thing. So far this is the best stove I have ever owned.
I really like the company, their interest in wood burning technology and emissions as well as
the ability to create incredible stoves in cast and steel plate with super results.

If I hadn't bought the Woodstocks, I probably would have gone with a Jotul F 600. I like the look and the size is impressive. I know, non-cat, but I could live with that.

To many choices. A lot depends on your needs. A lot of good advice already but tell us your situation, square footage, insulation, burning habits, all the specifics. I love the stoves in my signature, but they fit my needs. You need to fit your needs and their is a lot to choose from as you already know. Let us help you.

    If budget isn't an obstacle?

I'd do a pellet add-on furnace, two BK Kings and a Princess.

I'd replace my Blaze King Princess with a Blaze King King. :) With the current stoves on the market I don't see myself owning a stove that doesn't sport the BK name right now. Sticking with a 6" flue I'd have to go with an Ashford but I'm not a fan of the firebox depth, while deeper than most stoves it's not as deep as a Princess.

I'd like a BK. Preferably the Ashford 30 because I think the handle mechanism is on the outside rather than going into the stove, but a Sirocco30 or the Princess would do as well.
I'd like those for the much longer burns.
The IS would also be on the list.

If I Had to change, a BK Prinsess. I need a slow burn. The wife has to load the Keystone once during my 24 hour shift, the Princess would make it.

A house in the Caribbean. That would be the only thing better than wood burning heat...

I'd replace my Blaze King Princess with a Progress Hybrid, wait, I already did that, actually if I had a way to fit it I'd go with a Blaze King King, I do love the looks of the Ashford but I need bigger. A lot depends on how much heat you need and other factors mentioned by Chief but so many good stoves out there, I'd like to try a lot of them.

For primary heat of a home with firewood only Woodstock and bk make stoves capable of dependable 10-12 hour burns. Bk does 30-40 hours on low so right now they're the best game in town for my application.

Pellet stoves can do longer burns at higher outputs if you don't mind dealing with the machinery and fuel costs.

Hmmm I am really interested in the pellet furnace! Any idea on the cost? Seems like it fits the bill for what I want in my basement to get rid of the propane furnace that isn't hooked up and hasn't run in 6 years.

To be quite honest I am pretty happy with what I have. The only thing that I might be convinced to switch to at this point is a BK Ashford 30 but I would be hard pressed to make that switch as the wife loves the current stove.
