    Here she is!

Glenn and Jack from Woodstock delivered and installed my IS yesterday, direct from factory! As to be expected from this company, these two were great guys and did an amazing job! They charged significantly less than other companies offered, and I'm sure knew more about what they were doing, making it look easy to get the IS in our home and set up! Prior to the delivery, I had told them I would make them breakfast when they got here, and Jack surprised me showing up with a dozen and a half eggs laid the day before from his personal chickens! They got the stove in my home, adjusted my liner and got everything installed in two hours and fifteen minutes! Then we all broke bread and had a nice hang! Man, talk about service!

I love how the custom art came out (and yes, I did get two sets of andirons, as I wanted the music clefs but my kids really wanted the dragons!), and think the stove looks great! I feel that the combination/contrast with my 1890s home works. I must admit, the IS looks pretty gigantic in the room, which is my only concern (aesthetically), but hopefully we'll get used to that and love it come next winter. Temps just dropped low enough right now and I'm doing my first break in fire. Got the secondaries going, and it's all looking very cool. Already with the first break in fire I'm feeling a little better about the size component of the aesthetics in the room, as it looks so awesome!

    Cheers to Woodstock!!!

Wow! Very nice setup. Handsome stove!
    What colors did you pick?
I'm hoping to break ground on a new home near Conway, NH next month and have picked an Ideal Steel for it.

Charcoal with copper accents including all handles and (additional) tool hanger. Ash bucket also charcoal with copper Navajo design. All custom art designs for top burners, side plates (which are black, not charcoal) and one of the two sets of andirons (the dragons are a set design they have).

I'm very delighted to see this thread, and the pics of course.

You made some great choices in the artwork of that stove. I think it looks awesome.

As you said, you should adjust to it. We already know you'll enjoy it, for many years to come.

I think it's cool that you are close enough that the Woodstock people came and installed themselves, I agree that they would obviously know what they are doing. Bringing their own hand picked eggs, well that says it all.

Now you can relax a bit, but remember to get on the wood.
    Very happy for ya BeantownBurner

    Very nice! Congrats!
I bet by this time next year the stove will seem like it was always there and you won't even think about the loss of a little floor space.
Wild that it is cool enough to pull off a break-in fire...I'm sure some people have fired the AC here by now...we haven't, not even close...well, I did in the truck, but no way in the house.

It hit 90 here in Boston a few days ago and was real hot up until yesterday. It's currently 52, and lows will be in the upper 40s for much of this week, so I thought I'd take advantage and do some break in fires. I currently have a few windows partially open, and the IS tamped down to 1/4 with just three splits, and the stove room is 74.

Congratulations on the new stove and it looks wonderful! You will be much happier next winter for sure.

I like the tools hanging off the side. But one you don't have! Here is my Deer Dennis tool, made by one Thomas Morrissey. I just hung it on a deer antler to take the picture.

BeantownBurner I agree with your kids: those dragon andirons are cool as all get out. The stove looks great! Congrats and good burning!
