    Been a couple years since I've handled any, but what a joy-clean and splits so well---off to get more this weekend but in the meantime, back to splitting that nasty gnarled maple Asplundh cut in my yard image.jpg image.jpg

    Beech can get some pretty gnarly grain in it too, just like that maple. If you ever run into one that looks a bit like a corkscrew, keep running!

    Eric VW Too late-it spewed like a fountain, and leaked all over my concrete while loading on trailer----the grass will grow back, the concrete will clean-the good Lord let my feet hit the floor this morning, the rest is gravy...

    Keep gouging ole buddy...the pi**er is I had the morning all planned out-you know I dont let rounds lay-I cut in the am, split in the pm-tomorrow is haul the dang thing to the shop in the pm...they likely wont have a loaner...this wood addiction, IDK-my golf game is suffering-I play Old White at the Greenbrier next Saturday-cant practice for the addiction...:loco: :crazy:
