I finally got in a load of IBC totes. These are the 250 gallon size. I take the plastic out of the cages and us them for firewood, then move them around with the tractor. There are some that are like new.....had a very light weight pag oil in these.
Asking $30 each. Located in 48836 can also bring some to Grayling if needed. . image.jpeg

Good question I would like to know too.
I wonder if the recycle truck would pick up the plastic at the driveway

I would guess the weight of an empty frame would be about 50#.... the plastic comes out really easy. Remove 4 bolts, push tote onto its side, slide the plastic out. Fire up the saw and cut the plastic into smaller pieces and dispose of in garbage.

If I stack em 2 high I could probably get 4 in my 5x10 trailer
I have no way to stack them at home but would just use them for Uglies.
I have some wooden crates I use now but, eventually they will deteriorate

I'm not in a hurry but I hope you don't sell them all.

Yah, I see guys asking $100 for 'em...not sure they're selling for $100 though...unless maybe the food grade ones...they bring more.
I see these totes sell at auctions all the time...can't say I've seen 'em bring more than $50 though...

I don't know what people are thinking charging $100 to $200 around here they're not worth that kind of money just cuz they're shiny metal

For any of you fellow Ohioans that would like one (or more) of these crates, we have 3 or 4 of 'em at work that I think I can get for about the same money as Nitrodave s, let me know... I can check into it. (BTW, they had polymer in 'em)
(not trying to steal your thunder Dave...I figured there is at least a couple hundred miles between us...just thinking maybe I could facilitate a fellow FHCer with his/her hoarding...)
