Funny. I'd have sworn I told my wife I was going to a neighbor's place a mile away. Guess she didn't hear me. Then to top it off, on the way back I stopped at another neighbor's place then ended up coming home for something he needed and then went back. When I left there, on the way home I saw our neighbor (only other home on our road) coming on his atv. Seems he had been out looking for me. Whoops. Said my wife walked over to his place and asked if he has seen me and he hadn't so she asked if he could help find me. He did. All was well in the end and wife was not mad and we had a good laugh about it. In addition, she walks daily and with her walking all over in our woods looking for me, she got in part of her daily exercise. lol
My husband is frequently gone longer than needed while going to get water. He has met alot of neighbors, and we are invited to a football game night down the road Out here if a neighbor see's someone drive by on the weekend (not alot of neighbors) they want to talk, cool in my book.
