My daughter and I finally finished loading up my second bay. I think it’s around four and a half cords of Locust, Ash, Maple, and HVBW. Pile is about ten feet deep. We also stacked up some fairly recently split standing dead Ash and Silver Maple on the rear patio. I haven’t put the moisture meter to them yet but hope not to have to burn them anyway. They’ve been bucked and stacked on pallets for close to a year so they could be close. The youngest ran off with the MM and can’t remember where she left it.
That's what it's about right there! I always like seeing what fellow members are working on, but it's extra special when the little ones get involved too.
Thanks, she enjoys dealing with firewood but stacking is definitely not her favorite part. She enjoyed the breaks she got when it got to tall for her to help.
Looks like you are all set there Noth! About the only other thing you need is a splitter operations manager! https://fb.watch/oawJf5hYWR/
I'm betting it went more like this. Noth sat there sipping his root beer while she filled the woodshed. Good job team.
