    I have 180 acres of cedar fence posts that i took out when i bought my place and just found a good use for them they perfect kindling but do they ever snap crack and pop lol[​IMG]

    That will be a bunch of kindling. Just pulling the posts sounds like a lot of work.

    Oh it was but i needed to because we replaced them with new treated posts and i did use the tractor

    Cedar is great kindling and despite the snap crackle and pop, it's my personal favorite. Smells great too. However, cedar posts can also be pretty valuable for people looking to add rail fences to landscaping projects. Might be worth looking to see if there is a market in your area. Sounds like you have enough to spare ;)

    Why change them out? Were they in bad deteriorating shape?

    White cedar is what is used for kindling around these parts.

    There used to be a sign on the side of the road that read "POST HOLES FOR SALE!" never did stop to buy any :rofl: :lol:
