A case of the lazy's, that is. I just don't feel like doing a thing today! Heck, been up for 6 hours already and still in my sweat pants! It is cool out there, below freezing, which is my preferred time to be in the woods, but I just don't have it in me today, dang it! Tomorrow back in to the 40's, which means things will be sloppy and wet. I am gonna convince myself that being out there when you don't want to be is a safety hazard! Yeah, that's it! In the name of safety I am staying home! Of course, if not wanting to be there was always a safety issue, I wouldn't ever go to work now, would I! lol Ted
I call it getting a case of "lackawanna". Happens every once in a while. It can also be called "re-charging". Gudda do it… keeps the batteries fresh.
It is snowing, but blowing so hard off the lake that there is no new snow on the ground until you get back in the woods. The snow is literally blowing parallel to the ground past my home.
Artan, my wheaten, was out a few minutes ago..he sniffed like crazy but had no interest in staying out. he stood on the snow and faced the lake, and was blown backwards because of the wind and how icy it is after yesterdays thaw.
