seems like a pretty good deal on a 371 and 194, both come with a case and both look like new. They would fit in a gap, but I do not need another saw! CAD
They won’t last long so you better pull the trigger! The best time to buy a saw was yesterday. The next best time is today.
Had to explain what CAD was to the boss the other day. .... When I was on my way home from buying another saw.
I used to have GAD. Finally broke that and ended up rebounding with CAD. Possibly have broken that too seeing as I have let some great deals walk lately. Now I'm into PAD (Parts Aquisition Disorder). Another 60cc is on my radar, but doing my best to deny the want.
Either I'm crazy or I've had an awakening of sorts. After a couple years of CAD acquiring, acquiring, and acquiring some more, I literally woke up one day late last year and felt the strong urge to just stop and slowly downsize. I don't need (or want) 5-6 saws in the 16" - 18" bar range. I don't need a top handle for limbing because my little 028 does fine in that role for the amount of limbing I do. Soon I'll be selling my Echo saws because they just sit taking up space and it drives me nuts. I'd rather see them go to somebody who needs them. The only saw I hope to acquire one day is a 90+ cc for milling, and even then, that's a want and not a need. If the right deal at the right time comes around I'll pounce on it. What I'm starting to appreciate more and more though is having chains, 2 cycle and bar oil stockpiled. By all means acquire as much as you feel you need (or want). It's entertaining regardless
I have 5 'working saws' in stable right now. 2 @18", 2 @ 20" and 1 @24". Can probably keep them going as long as I'm able to operate. Have a couple stashed back JIC. Would like more redundancy at 60cc/20"
