Not an ad and I don't work for Husky or Treestuff.com, just my opinion of this axe.

Just opened the package and man what a nice axe. :ups:The Husqvarna Traditional Forest Axe is a great value for the buck. This axe is actually forged by Hultafors and is a well made tool. Not as nicely finished as the Hultafors brand but almost. Grain in the handle is perfect and the head/handle fit is perfect as well. It's almost sharp enough to get a good morning shave! It's shorter than other axes but that's what I was looking to find. It will do a great job of clearing the area before felling and removing small limbs. I thing it's a great deal for the money. Down side, Treestuff.com shipped it without the leather sheath which is suppose to be included. I just E-mailed them about the problem so I'll get back to you about their customer service when I hear.

Save another 7% off using the coupon code WSTAR. Great deal on an axe of this quality in my opinion.

So I phoned TreeStuff.com on Thursday morning and told them I did not get a sheath with my axe. The nice lady said she had one in stock (of course you do cause I didn't get mine) No kidding it arrived Friday afternoon! That's service. Pictures on Monday....

Here are some pictures. Forgot to mention it is shaving sharp out of the box. I'll use it for setting felling wedges, clearing brush before felling and removing small limbs. The finish is not as nice as the Hultafors but for half the price I'll be happy to live with it, it kind of looks "rustic."
