I just acquired this clean little 55 and she should be here in a couple of days. I've heard nothing but fabulous reviews about this saw and can't wait to get it and put it to work. This is the closed port version and has a new top end. Dex didn't "make me do it", but thankfully he had been helping me look for one and found it. Thanks buddy!!!

Wow nice saw! I have saw envy! Ever since I saw dexters I wanna run one lol. I think I have a special place in my heart for all orange saws...... They just seem to fit me

Thats a pretty clean looking one there. Dont know what the difference between open and closed port. But it sounds like you have a good one.... Congrats

I'm really anxious to see how it compares to my Husky 545 and my buddy's MS290. It should hang right in there well.

Look over in certified's thread on his new 357 and how it compares to his stihl 310........ it's a good part of the reason why a homeowner saw cannot hang with a pro saw even if they have the same displacement.

Here's a picture, the open is on the left and the closed on the right
