$250 shipping included to your door in the lower 48 Selling my Husky 55 purchased from another member here a few months back.I bought for a backup saw only cut 3 or 4 cookies with it.Saw starts runs cut oils as it should still needs to be broken in.Compression is 160. Also included is a likle new cub cadet branded bar and 2 used chains.I only run 100% gasoline no ethanol in my tools. This would make a nice firewood saw.Saw is not perfect has light scratches also has some muffler and chain rash as seen in pics.Recently purchased another saw so I am thinning the herd. Here is post from former seller along with current pics.
Up for sale is my 1997 Husqvarna 55 with closed port cylinder. I bought this saw used recently and have run about a tank of fuel through it. It has a new top end, piston, cylinder and rings, all aftermarket non oem, not sure which brand as the work was done by a saw shop that was local to the previous owner. The tank has been flushed, and a new gas and air filter have been installed. There are just shy of three tanks of fuel through this saw since the new top end and she is just starting to wake up. It starts, runs, idles, and oils without issue, but stills needs to be broken in. The plastic and the condition of the saw is as good as I have seen for a Husky 55, I think the pics will speak for themselves.

+1 like Steven said good looking saw. I like to put the piston out of a Stihl 028 Super in them. Makes them go pretty good. Rottiman has one and seems to like it fairly well.

A 55 can pretty much do it all for regular firewood gathering. The 55 open port I sold was a great runner....I just couldn't keep em all, sigh.

I understand that. But if a sale was the goal you might try. But I understand wanting to keep a good saw in good hands vs some idiot straight gassing it next year and you seeing it back up on CL as for sale locked up husky 55 for parts...or him just trashing it
