I have an 18 inch bar in my 545, .on a rare occasion I need a longer bar, I'd hope to be able to use this saw instead of buying a bigger saw.

How big can I go bar wise on this saw?

Is there a formula used to figure Max bar size based on CCs?

    Thanks for any info.

    Thanks Fife,
Now I feel silly not just looking that up myself.

Don’t feel silly, we all ask questions that can be found easily on our own- plus, it gives other members the chance to keep their search skillz honed. :D
As to bar length, I occasionally run a 20” on my 445 and it does fine.

I have a 20" with a H23 chain and does just fine as long as I don't file those rakers down too much lol
