    Was running my 372 the other day and it quit running. Just got a chance to pull it down and this is what I found. Still not 100 percent sure what caused it, but it looks like a ring broke and somehow some pieces got into the combustion chamber and hammered it. Looks like the beast will have a fresh top end...

    Watch for metal bits in the case. I’d consider splitting that one unless you’re confident you got all the pieces.

    Also wiggle that crank and check for play.

    Thanks. Did the k the crank and I thi k it looks okay. Flushed out the crs k case and it looks clean. Rely Ed the crank bearing, and will probably try and get it back together tomorrow.
