So it is really not a pro saw then. I saw some piston and cylinder kits on eBay that said the 345, 346, and 350 were the same. I'm glad I asked on here. Thanks for the repliesn
The 346xp cyl is shorter with flat bottom - it bolts directly on the mag crankcase. The 345 cyl is taller with semi-circle bottom - it bolts onto the little clamshell. Now, if they have a spacer with semi-circle bottom - the shorter 346xp jug would work, provided bolt holes line up. The 350 has such a spacer.
Here is one I saw on ebay. BIG BORE HUSQVARNA 350, 345, 340, 346XP, 353 CYLINDER & PISTON KIT 45MM GASKETS
That looks complete with the spacer they are talking about. Don't know about the quality of that kit though.
That is what I was thinking. It looks like the spacer may convert it so other cylinders can be used on it. The saw I am checking into is supposed to be a good runner. I am just trying to figure out my options if it isn't. I've learned my lesson on AM cylinders.
I decided to not get the saw. A 346 cylinder can be put on it but you have to use the spacer from a 350.
