Seems normal. My 372 inside felling spike screws are stripped out. Not a new condition. I attempted to fix it a couple years age with cold weld epoxy. Worked well but eventually you run the saw to a point where heat overcomes the epoxy and melts it.
The hole is quite egg shaped. Don’t think a helicoil is possible. Anyone ever find a long drill bit and drill all the way through the case to the other side and use one long bolt?
    Any other ideas?

Is it possible to use the next larger size screw? Retap and loctite it in.

If there’s enough real estate and it’s not too oval, you can retap to m6. I typically timesert these holes in both Stihls and Huskies at the first sign of loose fit or stripping. The timesert kit is pricey but worth it.
