I hope all are safe tonight. Hurricane Zeta blew over me today and it was not a fun time at all. I had wind gusts 50 to 60 mph and it was very scary. Power went off this morning at 10:30 am and was not restored until 9:30 pm. It blew down a oak on the hill above my house; the tree had a fork and of course it got caught in another tree. I have leaves everywhere; both coloured leaves and green leaves. It is a big mess; I need to see if I can get the leaf blowers working. The only working one is an electric one powered from the house lines; have to use an extension cord. I took some photos of the tree and will see if I can add them tomorrow. I hope this is the last bad storm for awhile; it seems that all these hurricanes hit the gulf coast and then came up and took a right hand turn over me.

We've been getting much needed rain. No damaging winds.

One thing these storms bring is downed trees. One of the reason I wanted a way to haul wood is that people are more than happy to have someone help with the tree removal.
