I'd leave it be and use it to rest my beer on.

First you gotta spit a couple times. Then hold yer mouth just right. March right in there and attack that sucker. Take no prisoners, wedge as needed, probably won’t need a jack.

Don’t forget to stag off your britches with spenders out so you look like a reel logger too. Above all video, we need a video how with proper technique.

I was thinking similarly....secure it to the joist, trim it down, put a table on it for serving drinks.....

But if it has to go, and you're not replacing the decking, small chainsaw, bar pointed down to the middle of the stump, creating a v shaped bowl. After that, one of those reciprocating saws to plunge-cut the rest of the stump below the deck..

I’d make it a table base. Put a couple bar stools around it…

Yup, frame around it and use it for a table or something.
If it has to go, then I'd use a couple lbs. of Tannerite :D ;)

I’d crawl under the deck and remove it below the joists

I'd remove deck first, then chain it and try to pull the stump out w/ truck or something heavier. The higher the stump the more leverage for success.

Sizwheel looks to be the only viable option.

Well, to cut it down, as MikeInMa said, ise a chain saw, but your CAD will kick in, and you'll have to get a MS661 or MS881 with at least a 50" bar, might still have to double cut it to reach across...:p:p:salute:
