Homelite XL-12 (RED)

I guys . Thought Id post a couple saws I picked up the other day . I find old stuff and new stuff all the time..more when the weather is nicer/warmer ! Give me a shout if there is anything in particular you are looking for..and I can keep my eyes open . My surplus is about empty now..but expect more real soon .

First up...is a Homelite XL-12 . It has great spark..and about 120 pst comp..which is about what all the XL-12's and SXLA's I pick up have for comp . Has a really nice air filter . Missing the kill switch , the bearing is missing for the clutch drum.......but has a good 3/8 7 tooth rim sprocket on . Also cant seem to get the manual oil to work . I can hear a few air bubbles though . I flushed the fuel tank out...cleaned the air filter..and this old girl started right up . Runs really well !! U.T #10445A . Serial # 590310357
18 inch bar and chain . Bar needs a little file attention on the rails...and the chain is about half gone . With about a little time and parts..this would make a good runner..or use for parts . Nice winter project for the workbench !!! $25

 

First saw I ever owned except mine was blue and plastic air cleaner nut had been replaced with hex nut and washer.

I am looking for Poulan Countervibes from 4200 and up or Poulan Pros from 405 and up as well as any Pioneers from P-40 and up.

 

Ill keep my eyes open . Poulans and Pioneers are very popular around my parts...was a couple of good size dealers years ago . Stuff pops up here and there !
