    We got nailed here about 2 hrs ago. Winds like i've never seen before, tornado warnings all over the county. I've never run for the basement and this evenin i did. I yelled for my dad and his friend who were working in my shop and told em to get in the house asap! Me, dad, his buddy and baby piney rode it out ok. The mrs was over in pa at school and she said it wasn't as bad over there. Powers out, trees and wires down in just about every direction. Did a quick ride around and we lost a few good size trees on the property along with a lot of tops. A HUGE sycamore was uprooted a few hundred yards down the road. Also got word that the roof blew off one of the gymnasiums at work. Hope everyone else in the path of that storm is ok.

    Most of the storms started up east of us today.

    Just hoping the mrs makes it home safe now. She's got an hr or so drive and roads are blocked/flooded everywhere.

    We woke up to that storm yesterday at my brother's house. It was not pleasant, we were sleeping in the camper. Branches and powerlines down all over town.

    Glad to hear to acted on prevention and went to the basement. You just never know. The roof lifted off a building I was in. That was many years ago and not around here. Gave me new respect for the power of wind. So many hard luck stories. Glad you are not one of them.

    Sorry for not updating last night. The power is still out and cell service is on and off (cell internet here) She made it home safely. She said once she got about 20 mins from home the storm damage was really bad. Gonna go into work for a half day then get back here to do some cleanup.
