I don't bbq but seeing as I have a bunch of hickory chunks I figured someone would probably want it.

    I have a few questions.

    1) Is it better that the chunks are dry? I assume so even though wet wood makes more smoke.

    2) How much would someone pay? I was figuring I could use the USPS medium or large flat rate box and fill it up but I don't really know how much to list it for on eBay for example.

    3) How much does one actually need to smoke with and would people prefer it broken down even smaller than the pic below?

I have like 1.5 bins full at the moment but there will be more.......

And likewise with the noodles and sawdust. Do people use that for smoking?

Id say pick up a smoker and start smoking meats lot cheaper than getting propane or charcoal or running electric inside when you have barrels of hickory

Turned the shorties into kindling/smoker sticks. Giving some to my wife's cousin.

Made more wedges for more sticks today as well.

I would think the noodles would work good in my situation.

Noodles might work in an electric smoker, or any situation where chips are used in a pan/tray.
They would flash on a bed briquettes or lump tho.
