Anyone got one? Let me hear your opinions/review. Just put a little money down on one in .243 I have a Big Boy Steel in 44 mag and the Case Color Hardened 45-70. I love Henry's. That 44mag shooting xtp's flattens whitetail.
I want one! The Mrs wants a golden boy. Box mag is a great idea. I wish they would make .44and 45-70 box fed, I'd buy it today. From what I've read and seen the only drawback is the tube/hand near muzzle on other models. Hickock45 has several reviews.
Yeah the tube on my CCH 45-70 is tight and is tough to twist to lock it up after loading. Not bad when cold but after you shoot some and it heats up and that metal expands a little it's real tough. My 44mag isn't like that at all, real easy to twist and open and lock up, even after shooting rounds through it.
Picked her up this morning. Im really impressed. Not as fancy as BLR's but a way better trigger and its a Henry!
