A good friend asked if we could cut a couple white oaks for him, he needed the trunk sections for flooring on his equipment trailer. Sure, when and where, I replied. Went over yesterday, picked out the trees, dropped them. He used his big tractor to load it, he gave us the limbs and tops that were left. My hunny and I got it done.

Looks like a dead standing or storm ravaged oak another 50 feet down the road. (first pic)

Neighbors helping neighbors! Good on you for helping.

Is that a food plot we see in the woods? It looks like the ones I saw in Mississippi when I went deer hunting down there.

Couple of nice loads. The John Deere load those big Oak logs or did you lift an end and back the trailer under them?

Yes sir it did. We are out of good logs, going through 2 yr old stack now. Sap is punky, heart is solid, taking awhile. 0123201136.jpg Here is a load from those logs. 0123201612.jpg

Thanks. His tractor handled them, it was grunting, those logs had water running out of them.

Had to wait until I got to Wi-Fi to load the videos from Wednesday. Hat's off to huskihl for a job well done on both our saws.
And I especially like the sound on this one...

Nice, T.Jeff Veal , some nice wood there, I'd take that all day long. It seems weird seeing bare ground, other than a couple of days we've had snowcover, since December 2nd
