Ha,ha i think i know how most might answer this one. For about 4 yrs, i've had a bad fan knob in my toyota. I have no idea how it got broke, but, the bottom literally fell off the knob. I ordered a set of the original type knobs off ebay, 10 bucks shipped. Got them today, put the one knob on the fan side of the controls and this is the first time in about 4 yrs my fan has been actually turned off since it was broken. Now, there is no fan noise inside the cab , what a difference that made!! The other day i wast thinking about this, found the knobs, ordered them, got them today, put the one on, and boy, it felt good to get some thing like that off my ''need to do'' list. lol.

Been having a problem with our fridge door not closing very well for, uh....quite a while. FINALLY decided to do a bit of research and found the fix. Ordered the parts and they showed up a couple days later. Took me a few more days to work on it, because I had to take the door off. That meant all those little jars of stuff in the door had to be removed. :hair:
Well, I did that, and the actual fix took all of 10 minutes, from taking the door of to putting it back on.
Hardest part was emptying the door and putting it all back. :picard:

Since I retired I have done a complete flip and now finish all of those little projects as quickly as I can................................and then I'm looking for more. Is that a sign of retirement boredom ???????

Oil changes. It's easier to find a longer dip-stick to keep track than to change the oil.

Yeah, tell me about it. I don't know why it takes me so long to get things done. My sister was talking about this just the other day. I think it would be different if I had a partner; someone to help push me to get things done.

99 lbs bought a new wallet for one of my Christmas presents. It took over a month to throw out my old worn out falling apart wallet and finally got stuff transferred to my new wallet.

So, No I don't put stuff off much! Just a small example.

Honestly, if it's a major project like wiring, carpentry, firewood, etc, I'll dive right in and become obsessed with finishing it ASAP.

I just go into attack mode!

Well it's likely a sign of something.

An incandescent light bulb filament burns more brightly as the filament gets thinner. Not making a correlation of any sort there, just sayin'.
