    Hello
    Anyone still have one?
Harman Igniters are like tootsie rolls. They last a long time!
This came out of a Harman Advance with the metal hopper lid serial # 003351
    How old is thatStill be?
    Still in use? ;-)

Don - That new igniter looks longer than the original. Did you need to install a new cradle with it, or did it fit in the original cradle? My 2008 P68 still has the original igniter. I don't know how many fins it has but it's more than 10. It's got 12 or 13 I think? The replacement igniter I have on hand if/when needed is the newer 15 fin style.

it is slightly longer, but still fits in the cradle.....the earliest igniters were great, then there was a couple years there, maybe 5 or 6 years back, when they weren't so good. The 15 fins are pretty good as well though.
I hate the logset in the Advance....when you open the door to scrape the burnpot, it dumps ash on the floor.....
Also, looks like you have an APC750 there.....did you upgrade the CB to a E revision as well to take advantage of the pulsing comb blower when the power goes out?

    Hi LW
It fit in the cradle just fine.
Any idea how old that metal top babe is?
It is not my stove or backup unit

not off the top of my head, Don. The metal lid was in the first iteration of stoves, prior to changing it to glass. These units also had the old fiber brick panel, which was found to degrade too fast, and they came out with the cast iron brick panels of the more modern Advances. They also only had a 4 amp fuse.

Is there a way to change the whole top of the stove to one with a glass top?

its been so long since ive seen the steel door one, I'm not sure if the hinge assembly is the same....I seem to recall its different, so the top casting would be different....could be wrong....

That's an early Advance Don. I've never seen an 11 fin igniter. Only the 13 and now the 15. Interesting.....
