Nice furnace unit, but some have a tendency to burn up (crack, warp, bubble, or holes enlarge) firepots which are rather expensive. Definitely inspect this with a flashlight and mirror and factor into cost if bad.

They had an issue with their burn pots, they tried but to my knowledge never got it fixed. They (Harman) had this issue with all of their high btu units.

the key here is its age......over 5 years, and the burnpot will not be covered under warranty....if that baby holes or bubbles, its $500-$600 just for the part. Also check out the baffles on the left hand side of the burn chamber, see if they are still straight and not warped. All items are still available, it just matters how much is bad (or not!). Hopefully the owner has the sales slip, so its easy to ascertain age! If its a PF100 and not a PF120, its likely older than 5 years.

We've sold boilers and furnaces, while they made them. You wont find that board in either though.

cool stuff, mostly to help us measly techs figure out whats wrong with your stove by looking at the blink codes.......don't believe that F board will work in your furnace though, as I'm not sure they will be upgrading any of the 1-00-05888 boards (like in your furnace), with an F revision.....I'll have to keep my eyes open to see if they do.....right now its only the 1-00-05886 boards.....its a fairly minor change, but still the latest/greatest.

even if they did make it in the 05888 board, it would provide no functionality difference for you, the end user. More a diagnostic thingy (sorry about the technical pellet guy mumbo jumbo) :D
