My P68 is a 2008 model and has control board rev “B” in it. There’s nothing wrong with it. Suppose I was able to get a new board (rev “F”) on the cheap. Is there any value in doing the board replacement? To be specific, if the stove operation will be exactly the same, no go. However if there are any operational improvements or efficiency gains to be had, then it could be worth considering. Just curious. It would be SO nice if these could be consumer flash upgraded like every other modern piece of electronics.
If you can get it cheap....grab it and have it when it all goes sideways and a fresh one is several days out. I am not a Harmon freak...but the revisions may well be component upgrades, improvements or ???? rather than operational changes
I don't know of many flash upgrade-able pellet stoves. Although the new TC units......... As for an extra CB, whatever floats your boat......it'd have to be really cheap, in my opinion.

If it’s a really good price and you expect to keep the stove a long time, get it and place it somewhere you’ll remember. Odds are that if you don’t and need one in the future, the good price won’t be there.
The Rev F Board now detects vacuum errors and the status light flashes 2 times when there is a problem. That does make it a lot easier when the auger does not turn or the igniter does not get hot to troubleshoot. I wish all Harman stoves I work on could tell me when that is the problem. Except for the old Vince that does not know any better because there is no vacuum pressure switch. Who says you cannot make old Vince RS auto lite? https://firewoodhoardersclub.com/fo...-old-vince-automatically.7905/#message-116622
