Merry Christmas! Few questions about this unit.

Setup and running finally, seems to burn very deep in the pot and I am getting a smell of smoke every once in a while, does that mean auger speed is too low?

Getting crusty Ash in the front of the burn pot, again auger speed too slow or are my pellets too damp?

Advance 2? Anyway, fire right back to the auger is normal.1" of ash on the burn pot shelf is normal.Crusty? If it breaks apart with a touch, not a problem, just quality of the pellets.

The smoke smell is probably a leak in your venting.
