Has anyone ever bought/seen/used one? Would you recommend it? I see one for $599, 10x12 with 4 vents. I am thinking this could make a pretty good kiln/woodshed, with some pallets on the ground. It would save me a lot of work moving wood around if I put it all in there in the spring and left it there until used in the winter. Of course if I bought one, I would have to buy two, one for the wife for gardening. Greg

Yes, I have one that I use for the same purpose... I think it's the 8' by 8' one. It was here when we bought our place. Like most HF stuff, it works! Just not that great. Seems to dry the splits very rapidly but is very flimsy. The relentless Kansas wind has brutalized it. It works for firewood and is handy, I'm glad I have it. I just don't think I would actually pay for one... I use it as a woodshed close to the house that is protected from all sides. Good for keeping wood dry in really wet weather and storing kindling. Have you thought about building a frame on the ground and then arching a cattle panel across it like a quonset hut? Throw some greenhouse grade clear plastic (very important as it has temprature and UV stabilizers for longevity) Seems to me to be a more cost effective route.

For that kind of coin you could build a better one with treated lumber and corrugated polycarbonate panels that would last a lifetime.

Cool looking greenhouse. I just showed it to my wife and asked her if she liked it, she said "looks like a weedhouse" I said, I don't think thats what hes doing with it.
Pretty cool, and cheaper. I wonder whether it (or the HF greenhouse for that matter) can be left up year round and take a moderate snow load. Cause I would prefer to not move the wood again for the winter, if I could just use the kiln as a woodshed in the winter. Greg
I don't see a problem leaving them up , snow should slide off pretty easy , if ya get a lot, knock the snow off . A lot of people have the portable sheds and leave em up year round
