It may not be a big deal outside the greater Boston area, but it's a big deal here. Boston marathon runs this coming Monday. Additionally, it's the 10th year anniversary of the Marathon bombings. I've decided to not run this year and keep my streak intact. Red sox play regular season home games this weekend. The Bruins and Celtics have home games as well. Boston is a hopping place, the next few days. May it all be peaceful.
Dad was just telling me stories of his first time running Boston, in 1960. It was a bit different back then. I never got to see him run there, but we often listened to the race on the radio, and Patriots Day has always been special, despite not living in a state that celebrates it, because of the marathon. Hope your Spring is as nice as what we are having!!
