    I will keep this simple, short and sweet! :whistle: "Life" has thrown many curve balls to many of us last year, but none of us will ever go down with out a fight! We "ARE" FHC. And here we are again about to roll into a new year.

    Lets keep our FHC family as tight as it's ever been, the wonderful people here is what makes this place so nice to come to regardless of anything in ones day, disagreements, ailments, feeling down or just need someone to talk to! God bless you all and may 2019 bring you joy and happiness.
    My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you for a healthy and happy 2019!

    Thanks to the Captain of the Fabricators! It's been a strange year for me. After rehab I joined this site number 1 because I liked it and number 2 because it gives me purpose in the evenings. I never joined a chat site in my life and to be honest I don't like what they mostly stand for...

    Everyone be safe tonight and if you drink don't drive. I'm in no way against drinking and if you do tonight make a toast to my sobriety. If everyone comes home safe we can do it again starting tomorrow!

    Very well said Dave. It is a pretty special bunch here and so much happens behind the scenes.

    I'll say if you can travel and make it to a GTG, by all means do it.

    I have a lot to be thankful for. Myself and many others have had challenges over the last year and longer.

    I'm shaking the dust of 2018 off and have some good plans for 2019. This post may as well be the kick off to make things happen. Cheers and wishes of good health to the FHC family.

    It's been one heck of a year in our household. 1 win from cancer 1 loss. The support from this group has been wonderful. For the past year and a half, I've been working with a trainer once a week in the gym. This has maintained my weight at 290lbs at 6' 2-1/2". In the beginning of December I added a second day with the trainer. Since my mother-n-laws passing I've come to realize that I need to focus on myself. Over the past 4 years I've put my extra time into softball. Leaving little time for me. This renewed focus on me has been a breath of fresh air. Mind you this is not the typical annual pledge to lose weight. This is something I started a year ago, and now with my MIL's passing I am focusing even more so on me. Not selfishly mind you. However; if I don't start focusing on my health and well being, I will not be here to do the things I do for others. 2019 will be my year. Mind, body and soul.

    So here's to 2019 for FHC and our extended family. May all of us live a healthy and prosperous 2019.
