Glad we got ya'll covered and representing it Whole bunch of "flag" controversies going on down here Now folks are wanting to tear down war memorials to fallen soldiers, rename military bases, schools, roads you name it. Lets erase history in the US(I don't think the confederate flag should be flying BTW), but both our countries were fought for by traitors of the motherland for freedom, the Confederate states sought their own freedom from the their "perceived" oppression and lost. It still happened and men lost their lives fighting under a different flag. A good bit of the supposed heritage around the confederate flag comes from the savagery, pillaging and marauding that went on by Union troops after the war was over - don't see much of that in textbooks
