A full wood shed! Or in my case, two little sheds. Both finished and full as of today, though I may stack a row or two in front since I wasn't shy about the overhang. Sadly, the metal roofing had to be purchased. The rolled black roofing was a freebie. Also paid for a few 8' 2x4 and 2x6, but all in all less than $150 in materials.

I would love a big ol shed to hold a full winter's wood, but going small and building several lets me work alone, and makes them easier to deconstruct and take with us, as we will likely move in a few years. Also keeps the tax man at bay! Probably do a couple more next year.

I measure 3.5 cord between the two. Another row stacked in front of each shed under the overhang will add another 1.3 cord if I stack 18" splits 8' wide 7' high, so I guess that's the next order of business!

    Very nice!
I lucked out when we bought our house. I have a detached work shed to tinker in and an old barn to hoard firewood in. I’d want something like what you built if I didn’t.

Loaded sheds are so full of promise and an empty one is so sad! Good job on the sheds!

Good BigPapi. Get it done before you have to start taking care of a little one.

Soon I will be setting up my patio shed. It sets just outside the walkout basement where the stove is. Holds about a cord and I just keep it full all winter till about mid March then burn from it till done.
