Around half way thru the usual burning season; and I'm just over 1.5 cord burned so far. The white oak that I got into during the cold stretch really made me a believer in "higher density wood"!!!! It's been mild for about a week, and I'm into a box elder block in my stack of white oak.............not a bad thing............plus I've worked my way into some more chunks and uglies that I throw in between my 2 rows of CSS'ed wood on my pallets.

Less than a cord. Stopped using my good stuff (mulberry, locust) and back into elm/ash mix.

I think I have burned only about 1.5 cords so far, maybe not even that much. I think I have burned less this year than the halfway point in previous years. Lots of old oak in my stacks this year.

As usual, I have only a vague idea of what I may have burned in the Dutchwest here, and the Buck at my MIL's...maybe a cord or less here and about 2 in the Buck?? Hasn't been super-cold, overall...

More than I thought I would and most of the good stuff. Rough estimate would be between a cord and 1.5.

Man, I thought I was the only one.
All these guys burning only a cord or so........WTH?
I'm right about 2 and 2/3 cords, which is just slightly above my half way mark for use.
Hoping for about 2 more or less by mid May.

About the same as you. I suspect the reports of 1 cord so far are either supplementing their other source of heat or in a much warmer climate.

Running at probably 2 cords right now. Which is right on course for me. I should finish with about 3 cords. I don't have them separated, but walnut, ash, oak, mulberry, honey locust, and hedge are in the mix.

Just over 2.5 cords, not near as much as last year but the poplar vortex was kicking and I always kept it fully loaded. This year just half loads and at 40 degree day time highs I'm more relaxed with loading.

Five plus cords here in my first year burning with the two stoves in our home. Getting an idea of what we'll need each year to get through.

1 3/4 - 2 cord red oak and a cord of white pine in the shoulder season and as kindling. Thought I was doing good this year till I saw some of what you guys are using. Glad to see some are in the same range.
