I stumbled into being an Echo lover when I got my brand new CS590 at the depot for $299, all because some of the depots in the area dropped anything over the cs400. I picked up my CS490 for $230 because it got returned after one tree, to a store that didn't sell it yet. Any time I have to visit lowes or the depot, I must walk by the chainsaws to check out the deals. (Still not sure what to do with the CS400 I got for $205, looks like it cut one tree and got returned) So I am in a cs400 store and find these two chains that fit the 490, and since they don't fit a saw in the store, I get them for half price. Nice!
