I started making these a few years ago as most of the wood i sell is by half cord. Made from reclaimed framing lumber either PT or not. Ive used 2x4, 2x6, or 5/4 x6 deck boards. Inside dimensions are 10' x 5'. Sometimes ill diagonal brace both back and front.
Simple and functional. Splits are black locust with no bark. IMG_4784.JPG IMG_4785.JPG
I had a mound of BL splits i guessed was a half cord and it was close.
