Wexford Co. Man Dies in Woodcutting Accident chit happens, but this, more than likely, could have been avoided. Maybe not but cutting alone and then knocking down multiple trees instead of one at a time is a recipe for disaster. This man, unfortunately, found out the hard way. BE CAREFUL, METHODICAL AND HAVE AN ESCAPE PLAN! DO NOT GET COMPLACENT.
Currently I don't fell trees, but I have some coming up. I'd done it in the past and get the concept, but have much to learn. This is a great reminder. Even when things seem perfect, things can go wrong. Thoughts and prayers for this family and they deal with their loss.
