Cool looking! Let us know how it works.

We use a similar 20V saw with vegetable oil to quarter a moose.

Well, she has been using it for 2 years, and loves it. She only has one battery, but she says her capacity pretty closely matches the battery capacity.

I would find it frustrating to use, it is quite slow and small. But I keep her supplied with sharp chains, and am always amazed by what she can do with that little saw. I come home from work and she has cranked it out. Our land is overgrown, and she uses this saw for stuff under about 5 inches, and for cutting trails. we burn down to about 2 inches, so it gives us firewood too.

Until recently, it worked flawlessly, but now it has a crack in the case (caused by a pinch when she tried to cut something beyond her/the saw's ability), which affects the chain tensioning. I worked up a work around, but I will soon have to replace a few plastic parts.

I forget the price I paid, but I think it was about $80 on eBay, new. So, for my wife it was a good buy, especially if I can get a couple of more years out of it with replacement parts.

If I bought again, I would upgrade a little. But I suspect she would veto that and say, "Give me the same saw!"

It's amazing how much can be got done with a little saw that cuts. When Stihl came out with the 017/170. Everyone was amazed by what they got done with one . myself included. I got one for my wife but once it broke in , it developed such high compression that she couldn't start it. She wouldn't use it.
I think a cordless is in her future!!
How much does your saw weigh ??
I see DeWalt has a 20 volt cordless saw now. Which is prolly what I would get as it will take the same batteries as all my other cordless tools.
