Stopped at TSC on the way home and saw these. The "Super Premium" language on the bag got my attention, that's pretty rare for TSC. Anyone able to compare these to other hardwood pellets like Hamers, Somersets, or Turmans perhaps? Worth buying a few bags for testing?

tt....I had one bag left over of those oak's from a few years ago. Burned them the first week I fired up the stove this season. They are a really good pellet unless things have changed. I'd be all over those!!! Those came through our local Lowes last year but I was late to the chase.

Yeah...tt...if you need more pellets, definitely grab those. I think you'll be more than happy with good heat and low ash.

OK, thanks guys - I will go grab some bags. I don't need them, I just want to try them out to see if it's something I would want to buy in bulk in the future.

I know, and now I have to contend with competition from Birddog too! It's getting tough to be an effective piggy around here these days. It's ok, I like to help out my fellow :vulture:s.

I'm new to pellets this year.
I only had my pellet stove for seven weeks and all I do now when I go out is see what brand of pellets stores are selling.
    my wife think's I'm crazy.

Have you got the twitch yet that makes you smooth out and fondle the pellets every time you walk by the stove?
