It’s scary to think what some people will be burning in when it gets cold and heating oil is over 5$a gallon.

That should be almost as efficient as your Woodstock right Dennis.  You should ask them if that's $500.00 to haul it to the scrapyard.

Here’s one. I’d have to assume this is the first model tho.

On craigslist, trying to sell the Atlanta Stove Works stove.
I suppose the determined individual will buy it, maybe seal it, and use it. It won't be horribly efficient, but it will warm the place, and will save some dino fuel.

That very well could be worth the price.

I would think so. If I suspected it was the second model I’d snap it up in a heartbeat. I’ve had the first already. Great stove but not impressed enough to rebuild one. Ceramic cats are no fun IMO

I have not used ceramic for quite some time. I'm not even sure if Tom can even get them now. Steel is good.

Do they have steel replacements for the old models? If so I didn’t know that. That might change my opinion :)

Between fuel prices and the tax credit, I suspect all the box stores will be sold out of anything decent that goes for <$1200 by Thanksgiving.

Not a winter I'd want to be a volunteer rural firefighter.
