Got some red oak today.

With that thought in mind I went back to the scrounge site and concentrated on red oak today.dulled two chains in dirt/gravel but I guess that’s the price you pay.

    AWESOME score!! Red oak is my fav because of its ease of splitting and typically the amount of splits I get when I score it. You have a nice amount there. When properly dried, that'll be some premium heat output. :dex::dex:

    I just spent four hours cutting and splitting live oak. I am so jealous of those nice straight large rounds! Nice haul!
