We had a job in a neighborhood today and had a customer come talk to us. I was up a ladder at the house and did not hear everything but she said her dad was a C&P lineman for a long time and she had his old belt and hooks. She asked if any of us would be interested in having them. We asked if she was sure because they were her fathers and she said she would rather have someone that would appreciate them have them. I said sure and that I would hang them on my garage wall. Pretty cool I got his hooks, belt and safety strap along with a bell wrench and some other phone company related tools.
That is very cool. A pic of him on a pole with the gear on would be cool to hang with it. I always get bummed out when people appreciate belongings of their family. Im glad you got it and are going to display it.
