About time to fire one up here. 1/2 cord would be a good day for me.

Great! I'm done splitting and starting to stack. My least favorite part of it. In my earlier thread I started I may have grossly under estimated just how much I produced as the stacks are growing rapidly but that long pile doesn't seem to be getting all that smaller.

It's a first world problem to have I know.

Keep at it and you look like youre doing good.

Splitting and stacking is my least favorite part. I enjoy cutting and hauling it home and naturally burning it. I get it done though.

I used to hate stacking. Now I just place the splitter next to the stacking area and stack straight off the splitter. Pull rounds straight out of the dump trailer onto the splitter and then into the stack without touching the ground. Bending over to pick rounds or splits up off the ground does not work well for me since I broke my neck several years ago. I was going to build cages this year and quit stacking altogether, but didn’t burn enough wood this year to make room for that. I need to rethink my wood storage area…I have a lot of room, but no more places that miss July will approve for wood storage.
